This Organic Burley leaf has an even darker, more red/brown color, and packs a more of a robust flavor that many American tobacco blends are famous for. This leaf carries an incredibly distinct scent, unique to American grown Burley leaves.
Organic Burley is now available at Leaf Only! This Burley leaf is grown in the USA, and for those that are familiar with our conventionally grown Burley and our "Organic American Virginia Flue Cured Tobacco Leaf", this leaf is a middle ground between the two, except Organic!
- Minor spots or discolorations on Burley leaves are normal and are no cause for concern. This leaf is not in the best shape and may need a little extra care to get ready for use.
- You can enjoy your smoke with peace of mind knowing that this leaf has never been handled by commercial processors, and was grown and handled totally ORGANICALLY!

I bought some of this and the Organic flue cured Virginia to make nasal Snuff and pipe tabak. This is fantastic tabak....nutty, slightly spicy and plenty of vitamin N!! Medium dark brown on one side, golden on the other. I can't imagine it wouldn't benift immensely from age. The fact that it's certified organic is a beautiful icing on the cake. Fast shipping!
I wish there was a provided organic wrapper, but unfortunately I guess its not really possible. This makes a great, strong leaf for pipes or cigarettes. You might want to clean the leaves off before you start, they come moist enough to work with, but you can let them dry and wet them up later. Out of all the organic selections here at leaf only, i prefer this burley. The canadian and virginian weren't strong enough for me. The burley is no joke. You'll get a good experience out of every smoke, whichever way you prefer. you can chew it too if that's your thing, but you should clean your leaves before hand.
This is some amazingly good burley. I think it smoother than the aged Burley. You have to work for it though. The bundles are dirty with many severely damaged leaves. However when you have sorted, de-stemmed and shredded you will find a rich fresh burley smell, combining typical cigarish elements with an unusual hint of natural menthol.
